collaborations

I love collaborating with other musicians and diving into completely unknown spaces of feeling and musical ideas. If you’re interested in creating something together, or if there’s something you need that you think I could provide, just drop me a message!

1. MONSTER by Granny Meat Stone Shit

Sven, the guitarist from GRANNY MEAT STONE SHIT, visited me over the summer and showed me their new recording on YouTube. I immediately fell in love with the song: straightforward hard rock, without too many bells and whistles.

I couldn’t resist adding some organ and synth parts, and I’m happy the band liked my contribution! Because the arrangement was already quite dense, I kept the organ parts simple.

Many people think that using organ in hard rock or metal is a problem. I disagree — but I do think there are a few important things to keep in mind: stay away from the bass notes (except for effects), as that’s the bassist’s job. Don’t compete with the guitars, especially when there are two of them. It takes discipline and the ability to play for the song, not for the gallery ;-)

2. PATH TO FUTURE by Daniel Czestki

“Path to Future” is a song by Polish artist Daniel Czestki, whom I met in 2022 on the music collaboration platform Kompoz. I added some keyboard draft parts (unedited) to the track, but I haven’t heard anything about the project since — it seems he may have stopped working on it.
